The Pillowman's Journey
Last Sunday night, Katie and her folks and I went to see The Actor's Express production of "The Pillowman." We had a fantastic time as both the show and the production were fab-o!
Tomorrow night we're going back with 20 people to see it again. I'm also working on a podcast episode about putting this show together. I've never had two productions of the same play with my music in it running at the same time in different cities. The Boston production is doing so well it got held over. So If you're in Beantown anytime between now and October 1st be sure to make it out to New Rep and check it out. I soooooo wish I could.
In other news, Katie and I are settling down in our beautiful new house. New to us that is, as it was built two years ago. I'm really enjoying the odd projects I'm getting to do around the house. Electrical work being the big thing. I've learned how to install almost any light fixture with help from my Father-in-law Pete and his tank of tools! Home Depot is my current favorite place in the world!
Also, I have to say Hi to our friend Betty in Cambodia. All other's please forgive me...
Hi BETTY! We just received your letter a few days ago. It's great to hear from you and we're so happy you're doing well. It's kind of a longshot, but there is a possibility that Katie and I can come visit in early to mid-January. We have to get some other commitments sorted out, but any possibility is better than none. All the gifts you've given us are being used to their full capacity in our home here in Atlanta! We miss you and look forward to seeing you soon!
Now, I'm off to work on another podcast episode. It looks like I'm going to be giving a clinic on podcasting to Union Seminary students in October, which means Katie and I can get back to NYC! We've been away far too long.
More soon...
